Marietta Bertleff (Arts & Medical Director)
Mariëtta Bertleff (BIG registration: 29024262101)is a plastic surgeon and co-founder of Oraphi Health. In her work, she has spent many years within the conventional medical circuit, with all the precision and possibilities that entails. At the same time, she noticed that not all changes in the body can be easily explained within existing care pathways.
This search for coherence is both professionally and personally significant for her. As a patient, she encountered the same questions: what happens in your body when symptoms are unclear yet definitely present?

Mathijs Rumke (Coach)
Matthijs Rumke has been working in and around healthcare for over 30 years, of which the last 16 years as a coach and trainer in the field of behaviour and communication.
Within the collaboration with Oraphi, he focuses on a specific phase in the process: the moment when a clear plan is in place, but the application in daily life does not yet come naturally.
In practice, it turns out that this is often where the challenge lies. Not because people do not want to, but because knowing and doing are two different things.
His approach is down-to-earth and practical. No new methods or complicated models, but working from a fixed and proven structure:
• understanding how behaviour and recovery work
• clarifying what this means in one's own situation
• making concrete choices and maintaining this in daily life
Matthijs works one-on-one and in small groups, as this is where space arises for real reflection and application. His role is not to take over or direct, but to support people and organisations in making their own translation to what works, in their own context.
